The Service

Legacy House Portraits produces commissioned family, couple, and pet portraits from photographs you provide, using digital artistry combined with human studio review. By using this site, you agree to these terms.

Accounts

Accounts are accessed with a one-time code sent to your email — no password is required. You're responsible for keeping access to your email address secure, since it's how we verify who you are.

Your Photographs & License to Us

You confirm that you have the right to upload and use each photograph you submit, and that you have permission from (or are the parent/guardian of) anyone depicted. You grant us a limited license to use your uploaded photographs solely to create your commissioned portrait and to fulfill your order.

Your Finished Artwork

Once your order is complete and paid for, you own the rights to display and use your finished portrait for personal purposes. We do not use your finished artwork publicly (including in marketing) unless you separately opt in.

Proofs & Revisions

After your portrait is generated and reviewed by our studio, you'll receive a proof to approve or request changes to. Revision requests are reviewed and addressed by our studio before a new proof is issued.

Orders, Pricing & Payment

Prices are shown in US dollars and may include applicable sales tax and shipping, calculated at checkout. Payment is due at the time of order.

Shipping & Returns

Because each portrait is custom-made for you, physical orders are generally final sale once approved and sent to production, except in the case of a defect or shipping damage — contact us and we'll make it right.

Limitation of Liability

This service is provided as-is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or your order.
