Information We Collect
When you commission a portrait, request a free preview, create an account, or place an order, we collect: your email address; the photographs you upload; details about the people and pets in your commission (names, relationships, and similar); your shipping address and order details if you purchase a physical print; and basic usage information about how you interact with the site.

Your Photographs
Reference photographs you upload are stored privately and are never made public, sold, or shared with anyone other than the service providers necessary to produce your commission (see below). They are used to compose your portrait and for nothing else.
We do not use your photographs to train AI models.
There is no setting for this and we never ask, because it is not something we do. Your uploads are sent to our generation provider solely to compose your commission, and are governed by that provider's own terms while they are there.
Marketing permission is about email, and only email.
Ticking the box on the free preview, or signing up for updates, means we may send you occasional news. It grants us nothing regarding your photographs.
Showing your finished portrait is a separate choice, made later.
After an order you can opt in to have your finished artwork displayed alongside a review you write. That is about the finished piece, never about the photographs you uploaded, and we do not display it unless you ask us to.

How We Use Your Information
We use your information to create and fulfill your commission, process payment, ship physical orders, communicate with you about your order and proofs, and, only if you opt in, send occasional marketing emails. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Service Providers
Producing your commission requires sharing limited information with the specific vendors that provide payment processing, AI portrait generation, print fulfillment, and email delivery. These providers only receive what's necessary to perform their function and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the services above. To request deletion of your account, photographs, or other personal information, use our contact form.

Children's Privacy
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. Photographs of children may appear in a commissioned family portrait uploaded by a parent or guardian, consistent with the purpose of this service.

Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date at the top of this page.
